Leah Ison

As Communications and Community Engagement Specialist for Cerebral Palsy Alberta, Leah manages their social media, and creates weekly newsletters. She has worked in the nonprofit industry for over 10 years and does not foresee that changing anytime soon.

Leah is a wife, mom to one and step mom to four which keep her busy and entertained. When not working she is an avid bookworm, knitter, and true crime podcast listener.

Carlos Gonzalez

Carlos, Community Education Coordinator for Cerebral Palsy Alberta, has worked doing community awareness for over 6 years, along with teaching their popular ComputAbilities program.

With a passion to serve and live a life without limits, Carlos strives to spread disability awareness throughout Alberta and as far as his voice will reach.

​

Born in Monterrey, Mexico, he moved himself to Edmonton to further his education and gain a much-desired independence as an individual living with cerebral palsy.

​

Carlos enjoys movies, gaming, and dining out with friends whenever he can.
