Starting rehabilitative therapies at an early age helps to support children with physical disabilities to improve muscle tone, balance and flexibility while providing the opportunity to connect with others to improve social skills and confidence. Participants benefit from a gentle resistance to improve strength, pain relief as the warm water increases the blood flow to the sore muscles and helps to reduce spasticity.  Participants can use the reduced gravity in water to increase core strength used for stability and balance.

The CPAA will strive to ensure that each child is paired with a mentor to assist in the pool.  However, should unforeseen circumstances occur, parents/guardians/caregivers are required to assist.  By registering for this program, you are agreeing to this condition.
